1. Gratuity

Our crew goes the extra mile, that’s why we build gratuity into our price so you get a no surprises price up front.

2. Music

Please bring your favorite playlist. You'll be able to listen to music via an AUX cable or a Bluetooth connection.

3. Food

You're more than welcome to bring food, we recommend ready made foods so you're enjoying the maximum time on the water. We also offer catering, chef prepared meals, and service dockside restaurants.

4. Alcohol

Pick your poison, but please limit your glass to a minimum because it's easy to drop your drink if a wave rolls in. Please leave the red wine at home; it will not come out of the carpet or upholstery.

5. Cash payments

Our entire payment process takes place on our website. If you'd like to tip your crew in addition to the included gratuity, cash is appropriate.

6. Deposits

Our standard procedure is to collect 50% of the total cost of your charter to reserve, with the remaining balance due 7 days prior to departure.

7. Occupancy

There are no exceptions to the maximum of 13 passengers (including children and infants) aboard any VOYAGER yacht marked max 13. This is a USCG (United States Coast Guard) law that applies to all vessels regardless of size. If you're looking for a vessel that can legally accommodate groups of 50 to 600, check out our [Skipperliner 100'][1] and [Nichols 228'][2].

8. Bahamas

Please double-check that everyone in the group has a valid passport. We'll have to go through customs when we return to the United States. Allow for additional time at the end of the charter.

9. Pickups/Dropoffs

We can pick you up or drop you off practically anywhere, depending on the availability of a pier and the required water depth. Keep in mind that certain locations will demand a landing fee. The charter begins when the yacht departs the home marina; you may always buy extra time to compensate for the convenience of a pickup.

10. Cancelations

There are no exceptions to the non-refundable nature of yacht charters, including but not limited to random acts of God, virus epidemics, and storms. Cancellations are redeemable for a period of up to one year from the contracted charter date. The request is conditional on availability and excludes major and local holidays.

11. Weather

Because Miami is tropical, it may rain here and there but will be sunny for the majority of the day, so don't worry! However, if you must cancel the charter due to poor weather, you may reschedule. Rescheduling is only eligible once for a period of one year from the original contracted charter date. The request is conditional on availability and excludes major and local holidays.

12. What’s included

Each charter includes complimentary soda, water, and ice.

13. Jetski requirements

Operating a PWC (personal watercraft) in Florida waters requires anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 to have a valid licence. Training is available for free online at https://www.boatus.org/florida/.

14. Onboard cooking

Cooking and grilling are not permitted; however, microwaving and reheating of already cooked meals is permitted. Cooking may be done on board by VOYAGER crew or our chef.

15. Late arrivals

We will not extend your charter over the contracted end time if you come late; the charter officially begins at the contracted start time. We recommend arriving no more than 15 minutes early.

16. Young children

At all times, children must be supervised by an adult from the charter party. While a vessel is underway, children under the age of 13 are required by law to wear a life jacket.

17. Pets

Pets are not permitted onboard any VOYAGER vessel.

18. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted aboard any VOYAGER vessel. We want you to enjoy your trip, not be charged to replace textiles from a burn hole.

19. Drugs

The possession, use, or transport of illegal drugs and substances is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply shall be sufficient cause for the charter to be terminated without refund or recourse.

20. Term charters

A standard 30% advance provisioning allowance (APA) is collected to cover various expenses such as fuel, docking, meals, and beverages. Unused funds can be refunded or applied to crew gratuity upon return.
